Then screw and tighten the vent-valve.\u003c\/li\u003e \u003cli\u003eOpen the housing by unscrewing the bowl using the \u003ca href=\"\/search?ProductSearch=807256\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"\u003eAtlas Spanner for 10\" \u0026amp; 20\"\u003c\/a\u003e (Supplied with the original Big F Pro unit)\u003c\/li\u003e \u003cli\u003eRemove the used filter cartridge.\u003c\/li\u003e \u003cli\u003eWipe clean the filter housing with cold water and a soft sponge.\u003c\/li\u003e \u003cli\u003eOpen the new cartridge wrap and discard the wrap.\u003c\/li\u003e \u003cli\u003ePut a new cartridge in the filter housing.\u003c\/li\u003e \u003cli\u003eReplace the O-ring at the top of the filter housing. Check if it is properly located, lubricated and free of any damage. Tighten the housing bowl to the housing\u0026rsquo;s head using a proper wrench. Check with you local council for collection locations in your area.\u003c\/header\u003e\u003c\/li\u003e \u003c\/ol\u003e \u003c\/li\u003e \u003cli\u003eUnscrew the sleeve-bolt and extract the quartz sleeve with care.\u003c\/li\u003e \u003cli\u003eInsert the new quartz sleeve carefully centring the seat at the bottom plate of the UV chamber.\u003c\/li\u003e \u003cli\u003eInsert the o-ring into the quartz sleeve.\u003c\/li\u003e \u003cli\u003eTighten the sleeve bolt and insert the spring into the quartz tube by dropping it into the chamber.\u003c\/li\u003e \u003cli\u003eRemove the lamp from the packing, handling it carefully by its ends.\u003c\/li\u003e \u003cli\u003eInsert the new lamp into the quartz sleeve of the UV System.\u003c\/li\u003e \u003cli\u003eConnect the lamp to the electrical connection and reposition the black cap on the black bolt and turn it clockwise to lock it.\u003c\/li\u003e \u003c\/ol\u003e \u003ch5\u003eReconnecting\u0026nbsp;\u003c\/h5\u003e \u003col class=\"list-ol\"\u003e \u003cli\u003eReconnect the power supply.\u003c\/li\u003e \u003cli\u003eTurn on the water mains, paying attention to completely removing the air left inside the housing using the vent valves.\u003c\/li\u003e \u003cli\u003eSlowly turn on a water supply (tap) downstream of the BIG F PRO.\u003c\/li\u003e \u003cli\u003eOpen the vent-valve of the head, wait for air purge from the vent-valve, then screw and tighten the vent-valve.\u003c\/li\u003e \u003cli\u003eCheck unit for any water leaks\u003c\/li\u003e \u003cli\u003eLet the water flow for at least 5 minutes before use\u003c\/li\u003e \u003c\/ol\u003e \u003cbr\u003e \u003ch5\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eControl Panel Lamp Reset\u0026nbsp;\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/h5\u003e \u003cbr\u003eAL1: Indicates the end of lamp life (count-down timer shows 0 days). To reset the working days count down replace the lamp and press and hold for less than 5 seconds the button. The value of the days-meter will start to flash. Within 5 sec press the button again to confirm the days-meter reset.\u0026nbsp;\u003cbr\u003e \u003cp\u003eIf the Display is off, after power is restored, the fuse of the pcb may be blown. Unscrew the cap of the power supply box.
