Tips for mixing hydro-seed mulch:
- first fill the tank about 3/4 full of water and start the engine
- gradually add the mulch, seed, and any other additives like fertilizer and tackifier
- add the heaviest components last if possible
- continue mixing for at least five minutes until the mixture is consistent and free of clumps, and let it mix until all clumps are gone
