Points to consider on possible inner cable premature failure:

Cables on JEK pumps are wear-and-tear type items (like tires on your car) and will not be covered under warranty as faulty type parts

The new replacement cable Ketta supplies will be no different from the one originally supplied with your pump

Precautions to prevent premature inner cable failure include:

1. Avoid sharp cable bends, ensure cable bend is gradual, avoid kinks in the cable

2. On start up ensure pump is not submerged in water - this will allow cable to begin turning without the extra torque required to spin pump

3. Do not take the engine to full revs suddenly - bring the engine revs up slowly

4. Pump is not designed for heavy muddy water - clean water only

5. Ensure inner cable remains well greased
