Ketta KN2 snubber dampener for pressure gauges stainless steel - all sizes
Designed to protect gauges from pressure spikes caused from fluid hammer
Works by decreasing the orifice size in the line (they are also known as a snubber)
This restricts the flow to the gauge, meaning that any sudden pressure spikes will be restricted by the orifice and dissipated once they reach the gauge
The orifice size exposed to the gauge can be adjusted by rotating the flat head screw in or out on the dampener
Works on the same principle as a needle valve
